Popped by the library earlier with my boy, and I can finally start my intensive reading again! Damn, how I miss reading so very much! Best thing is that NLB is doubling the loan quota from now till July! =)

And so, I've finally gotten my Papillio! They are so gorgeous! Even the colour looks so yummylicious to me! LOL!

A pretty keychain came along with it!

Finally, my month long ordeal is over! Now Expo gives me exam jitters! Exams are finally over BUT I'm stressing over something new, the results. Damn. Bury me 6 feet under please.
On a happier note, my Papillio's here! After the whole sucky issue of Management Accounting, I received a message from my sister-in-law-to-be, telling me that my 21st birthday present is here! Will be getting it from my brother later tonight! I can't wait! Pictures of it will be up when I lay my hands on that pretty little orange Papillio!
And I can't wait for my boy to bunk over tonight as well, muahahaha! Yay, holiday time! Till September I think. Triple yay!

BBQ buffet dinner at Hotel Rendezvous tonight. And as quoted from mom, "spouses are invited". LOL. Elder brother with his wife-to-be, and myself with the boy. =)
I could live like this forever, just snuggled deep in your embrace.

Part 1 - Gelare ice cream cake. =) --- Swensen's ice cream cake from parents.

Us. ----------- That orange dress. =)

Part 2 - halfway through dinner. -- Part 3 - Gold Class! I miss my bones! DIET!

Stepping into adulthood feels very normal actually. It's no different from any other birthdays over the last 2 decades. But the one thing that stood out this year was that the sweetest thing on earth made it an extremely unforgettable experience for me.
And so, parts 2, 3 and 4 are out.
Part 2: Dinner at White Dog Cafe. Yum.
Part 3: (The one that really took my breath away) Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. So, what's so special about catching Pirates on the second day of its screening you may ask? It makes a world of difference when you catch a movie like that in Gold Class seating! Laid back in that big soft comfy recliner, with a fresh smelling blanket to snuggle under. Now, THAT'S the difference! And of course, my boy was the mastermind of it all.
Part 4: Up to Mount Faber we went! Walked a little, sat a lot, and simply gazed at the blanket of stars up above.
Thank you dar, for making my 21st such a memorable one. You must be really tired, driving around, making sure that the plans flowed according to timing. I heart you much. =)
Thank you to all who've wished me too, be it via SMS, MSN, Friendster, or personally. Thank you.

Before midnight, he said:
[1O] cma says:
anyway
[1O] cma says:
cake making time again! (read: shit)
At the stroke of midnight, part 1 of my surprise arrived.
A note reminder on my phone told me to head out of my gate for a surprise and what met me was the sweetest thing ever.

This was supposedly the ice cream cake that I wanted, and Mom initially agreed, but due to inconvenience of collection, she told me to choose another ice cream cake from Swensen's instead.
My darling knew how much I'm in love with this pretty cake, so he made all the weird arrangements with Ros. And appearing at my gate with it, the cake that he apparently "went to make".
Now, I'm so anticipating the rest of the day, and most importantly, the moment when I can finally slip into that pretty little orange thing. =) Thank you for part one!
The revival of my Nokia 7200 adds on to my happiness!

We were making Sunquick orange squash just now and he was saying that in the past, his tuition teacher would make that for him with a dollop of honey, which makes the drink taste sweeter and better.
Me: But I've got no honey now.
Him: Huh? Then what am I?
Me: -________-"
Whatever NJ4! You come up with the weirdest taglines ever!

I'm happy for a couple of people, especially for Ben. So glad that you've finally opened up and set that barrier in your heart aside. Go, embrace her wholeheartedly! I wish you all the best! And no, I'm not your guardian angel or whatsoever, I'm just your bestie who's been by you for 7 years and counting, and you have been too!
I know you fairly well (I daresay 95% or more), and so able to predict certain things and traits of you. And the predictions of your partners? LOL. Never been wrong there either, have I? I'm happy that you're happy, and also glad that you share your happiness with me. There's a lot of "happy" in that sentence. Whatever the case, jiayou!
On a sidenote, I was craving for something cold and sweet and so I made my very own mango milkshake! Mmm, I love that sludgy texture of the milkshake as it slithers down my throat with ease. Yum! =)
Happy day, happy drink. =)

Today was a happy day. Trotted down to town with my boy and he insisted on getting me the belt that I wanted just so to "complete my birthday suit". Thank you.
We're three, and it's my turn to plan, so I brought him to my planned place for dinner. We had a super quiet night and a dinner that was planned to be slow pace but circumstance disallowed that. Nonetheless, still it was time well spent. =)
Seems like we're always spending our special day at quiet places for dinner aye? That's fine by me though, no interruptions and away from all the bustle.

I just learnt a shocking news today. Something that I had all the rights to know about, yet kept in the dark for nearly 2.5 years!
He should be socially responsible enough to let people close to him know, and when I mean close, I'm referring to physical closeness. How can you keep someone in the dark about something so important? For fuck's sake, it concerns the other party. Beyond redemption.
And because of one irresponsible asshole, it's causing me to worry not only for myself, but for others. Damn you, understand? BAH!
On a lighter note, I just borrowed my elder brother's old O2 mini! One day with just one phone is torturous.

Damn, I feel super handicapped now! Some time in end March, my old phone (Nokia 7200) died, and today, my even older phone (Nokia 6510) died. From three phones, I'm down to one, how to survive?
I already felt super deprived with one phone less, and now this has to happen? zZzZz! My W850i is still pretty reliable as of now, but I think I'm going to get another Sony Ericsson. Maybe one of those older models that's still quite stylish. Ah, what the hell.

Threw out my old pair of Nike running shoes some time last year and I never got down to replacing it until today.
This pair was practically calling out to me with its vibrant colour, and I really couldn't say no to it. Initially wanted an orange pair, also from Adidas, but they didn't have my size, so we carried on our search, and finally this pair was begging me to get it.
My boy's been wanting to go jogging with me for ages, now we can! Work hard together, and try to be at our best in two weeks' time! =)

I've got so many reasons to rejoice today.
First is because one paper is finally down! Following that, I've caught Spiderman 3, and it's really something worth watching. It was worth getting those tear ducts to work too! Then my boy brought me to satisfy my long awaited avocado milkshake craving.
Last but not least, as well as the sweetest and best thing to rejoice about, is that he bought me a very pretty orange tube dress!!! And it's not like I've been eyeing that dress or anything, in fact, it's my first time today that I'm seeing it. He bought it because he found it nice and reckoned that I would like it. I love it, simply because I'm an orange fanatic (ever since Primary school when my Art teacher told us to tell her what's our favourite colour) and because it's from him!
But I'm only to wear that dress on my birthday, and that's by his word. So okay, I shall just have to feast my eyes on it in the meantime. I'm not impatient, I can wait. =)
Achieved my first big bright purple smiley for the month of May today.

Just got back from dinner at Botak Jones with my family. Urgh, the strain on my tummy is killing me! None of us cleaned our plates because it was simply quite impossible to. The serving of fries was insane and the same applies for the coleslaw.
Nonetheless, all of us left the table happily patting our bloated tummies. Definitely a calorie loaded dinner, but a great one that's worth it. What's most important is that Mom was happy.
I trust what I know. But whatever for?

Happy Birthday Mommy!!!!! =)
Sidetrack a little, got this crazy quiz link from Jo's blog and it's been my source of entertainment for the last couple of days! And finally, today, I reached the very last question of the damn quiz!!!!!
Sadly, still unable to complete it because of some hiccups. So, no skipping huh? I shall try then! Save my skips for the ultimate question! My boy's addicted to this damn quiz too. Tsk, very bad for us.
Back to the main focus, happy birthday Mom, I love you! =)
edit// My boy completed that super duper crazy quiz! I will too, but tomorrow. It's late and I'm tired of that quiz. zZzZz.

My mom was at AMKhub earlier and she called to ask if I wanted anything from NTUC. SMS-ed her a list (as instructed by her) of what I wanted, and I was expecting only one of each. My mom came back with more than what I expected. Her logic: 'Since I'm there, just stock up for you so you don't have to keep making so many trips down yourself.' Mommy's the best. Whose mom isn't right?
Now I can open a mini-mart selling granola bars. Hahaha.

All except the box of Oats 'N Honey granola bars were bought by mom.

The skin on my body is a canvas for my "art pieces". Sometimes, it feels really damn good to inflict pain on oneself.
To draw blood from beneath those delicate skin, is like oozing red paint onto that piece of canvas on me.
A few visible ones remind me of things, of people. And it's not all that nauseating. Those markings play as a constant reminder for me.
I suppose I won't be painting my canvas any time so soon. But I'll definitely not discard it away. For it's a good outlet for me. My skin.

Question: If you do not know someone at all, not even acquainted the least bit, how would you know what's going through his/her mind? How would you know how he/she thinks?
The answer would be that most of the time, more often than not, people use assumptions and 90% of the time, the assumptions concocted are wrong and very far from the truth.
It gets even tougher when people try to get at you, for reasons you don't know about. Bearing in mind that you don't know them at all. It's weird, this world we live in. Or the people rather. -shrugs-

muahahahahah i was here --> The boy did this.
Anyway, he was so so so so so sweet! Knowing that I've been craving for jellybeans for quite a few days now, he actually went down to Candy Empire to get me a HUGE canister of jellybeans! =)))
And the best part, my boy was waiting around the corner of my house for me to return from school. A million =)! Such a gem!

My model for the night. -- Paradise for joy, doom for waistline.

For three years,
I've been stuck with it.
One of the many fears,
That I cannot beat.
Day after day,
Night after night,
I battle it,
With all my might.
The road ahead,
Seems so bleak.
What is it,
That I seek?
Every night,
I cannot sleep.
I want out,
That is it.
*I know this is a pretty weak attempt at poetry. But that's how I really feel. As I lay in bed, suddenly the words started rhyming in my head. So here I am, with my thoughts.

Just remembered this lame thing that occurred about 3-4 weeks back.
I cannot remember what led me to say 'chao ji bai chi' which means super idiotic in Mandarin. Then that crazy boy just went "ORH! You scold bad word!", and that really left me bewildered. He then told me to repeat what I just said and I did. THEN it dawned on me what that "bad word" was.
The 2nd and 3rd word. -_- I so wanted to whack him hard! Goes to show who's the one who curses more huh? -points finger at him-

Gary just called me and told me that my picture has been uploaded by someone on hardwarezone. Totally WTF.
Apparently it was a picture taken on Valentine's 2006 in Swensen's. And the comment was that picture of mine resembled Tanya Chua. My face is -________- right now.
These people are obviously too free, with too much time on hand to waste to do things like this. Tsk.

War zone. Was packing my wardrobe earlier, and the mess you see is less than half of the entire content. I think it's even barely 1/3 of it.
Initially wanted to throw out clothes that I've not worn for at least half a year, but I ended up repacking most of them back into the wardrobe. Every time I try to clear my closet, I'll end up only throwing out a bag full, at most 2 bags full. Simply because much of the clothes in there have sentimental values to me.
I have this bag full of ballet stuff (leotards, assorted skirts, ballerina shoes, and the black one which I can't remember the exact name for it), items which lasted me 6 years of my Primary school life. Then I have this corner stacked high up with NPCC uniforms, from the days when I was a little cadet, then to the blissfully torturous CIBTC, and right through CI-ship.
So, success rate of trying to clear my wardrobe? Maybe only 10%.

The pot calling the kettle black. You're not fit to accuse me of lying, for you've lied far worse. That damn clubbing one was a classic example. And I only told you I missed you once. So your line of "stop telling me u miss me and all that crap" is a damn joke. You are not that great.
Also, the fact that you constantly changed reasons for asking me to move on proves even more so. First was because you wanted me to move on, to forget you. Then it was because of the change of my MSN name. You can't even get your reasoning right, lest keep it constant. Fancy telling someone to move on, yet blog about being disappointed with that person for moving on so soon. What contradictory.
And you did cut me off totally, even as a normal friend. So don't try to cover up by saying I was the one holding on to hope hence accusing you of cutting me off. If you loathe me, it's fine by me. As least he's far more understanding than you are. He knows that things can't be put aside overnight and he's willing to take the risk.
It's a joke if you dare say you're still very much in contact with her. Why do I even give a damn. I'm very much over you as of now, and I'm very glad that I am.
You couldn't tell all those to me directly, resorting to blogging it out. So here's to you. This post is a complete waste of my time, but at least I feel better and lighter.

I awoke in tears again, with an extremely weird dream right before I woke up. I wonder if there were any hidden messages behind the dream I had. Here's roughly how my dream went:
"My accomplices (whom I didn't see even a single one of their faces) and I were killing baddies in a police premise with hand-guns, knives and aerosol sprays (yes, I can see the HUH look on your faces, aerosol sprays?!)
So anyway, there were this fresh batch of young police officers that came into the room I was in and I accidently stabbed one of them to death, mistaking that he was one of the baddie (because the baddies were dressed in police uniforms as well). Damn, I just killed a very good looking young officer by accident. So I fled.
I ran and ran and I practically superman-ed down the flight of stairs (the feeling was so damn real and I was like damn high on adrenaline!). And I ran across the field, joining some school kids who were training for their Napfa or something to that extent.
I had no idea what brought me back to the front of the police building, where I sat in someone's car (not very sure who, could be a cabbie, could be my accomplice). Then another young (and damn suave) police officer came, and sprayed me with the damn aerosol spray (because I sprayed him with it earlier up in the building), and it was then that I cried, because the spray was stinging my eyes badly. Prior to that I already wanted to cry, for killing an innocent officer, the aerosol spray was an added catalyst.
That officer who sprayed me left me there for about a minute or so, then as he was about to bend in to give me a hug, I woke up, with real tears in my eyes."
Sigh, so what did this weird dream mean at all (if there's any meaning to it)?

My Nokia 7200 will be the death of me! As of now, the keypad is able to work already, but I still cannot unlock my phone. Why? Because I have this security setting I set in the past, and when I enter the security code (the one that I created), it states error.
I've tried all sorts of combinations, but to no avail. I think the internal system is screwed.

Just saw my younger brother on the news. His final year project was that they designed a software that's able to detect cataract easily. All you have to do is capture a close-up picture of your eye, then enter that picture into that software designed by them, and viola! You can get the answer of whether or not you have cataract.
If I remembered correctly, his team won Champion. Well done bro!

Yesterday's meetup with the girls was an extremely fat overloaded one. Again, it was 7 short of 1. But the main people were present, so it was more than enough.
We went for steamboat buffet at Ting Yuan (Bugis) and believe it or not, the 6 of us sat and ate for 3 hours continuously! The staff there must have been praying real hard that we vacate soon, because the amount we ate was really very shocking. Especially Shinyu, the biggest eater I've seen so far for a small-framed girl like her.
After that, the other 2 left and the usual 4 of us trooped down to Wine Network in Valene's chick Peugeot convertible. Pretty driver, cool ride, what a combination!
Dessert wine was great, especially after such a hearty dinner. Hitched a ride home with my younger brother after he knocked off.
Today was crazy, had revision lesson from 10 - 5pm. Same for tomorrow. First time I'm going to school for lessons on a Sunday. -_-"
I need my sleep badly, hardly got any sleep last night. Right, I'm off to watch Lost 2 (yes yes I know I'm slow, but I'm taking my time ok).

In loving memory of my Nokia 7200 (27 June 2004 - 21 March 2007).
Ok, my phone is not dead dead yet, more like in a coma state. After a tanning session and my poor phone decided that it has lived enough. Currently, I'm unable to have any access to the keypad, they refuse to work. That said, I can't unlock my phone for nuts, so the entire phone is as good as gone.
I've tried cleaning the keypad, knocking the phone gently, then with a little more force. No, it still refuses to work. DAMN! The phone that I so painstakingly won, and now it's dead. Let's hope that a miracle would happen and the keypad would miraculously work again.

Hey boy, thank you for being around for the past 7 years. Really very glad that although we've been through so much, we were still able to sustain this friendship. Means alot to me, really.
You've stuck by me through good and bad times, encouraged me and given me some form of light when I thought all was lost for good. For your case, I've nagged you quite a bit, but very happy to see that you do heed my advice too.
Although we have not met up properly for a damn long time, you're still always standing up for me and protecting me. I guess that's the true meaning of best buds, not always contacting, but always around when the other needs it. Thank you, and I mean it.

Rina's 21st birthday party was a smashing one! Her parents allowed guests to doodle on the wall in the living room, writing all our birthday wishes to her. And apparently they are going to leave it there for her kids to see in future! Fantastic idea!
The little birthday girl was just like a little princess yesterday, a rather busy one. Getting to see the others was nice as well.
Oh, thanks for that heart you made using the confetti paper. (=

Wine Network is really a good chillout place. Ambience is fabulous, and of course, being able to get staff price via my younger brother is an added bonus.
In total, 8 of us were there, age ranging frm 18 - 25. Good wine, good crapping session, good lame games played. Black Magic made my younger brother go nuts, and I was quite sure that he wanted to skin himself after getting the "magic". Haha! Silly bro.
Letters from Iwo Jima, coupled with the company, was very good. 3 days is a long wait! Hurry back home! And I love this mug alot. =)

From the time I woke up till now, I've only had a glass of milk. And earlier on MSN, I was telling him that I feel like eating this certain cupcake by Sunshine. A "haha" followed by a "i brb" led to a phone call 3 minutes ago asking where on earth can that cupcake be found.
Thanks for the effort, and I was starting to wonder why your "i brb" was taking so extremely long. Heh.

I love my girls! Finally got to meet up with them after soooooooo long! Think the last time I saw them was since my birthday party last year? (except for Val).
The Village at Heeren serves the exact same food as the old Marche. Just a change in name, totally -_-.
Went down to SRC and MingJie joined us. He's still as talkative and crappy as ever. He drove us all in to Sentosa and we chilled out there for awhile, it was good. Nice catching up with the girls and with the addition of Val's boyfriend.
Going to see them again in a week's time! I can't wait!!!

Had this weird dream last night, not sure to classify it as something memorable, or a nightmare. Was jolted awake and I was literally tearing. Don't recall thinking about anything regarding "it", so why on earth did I dream about that?
Everyday I tell myself that tomorrow will be a better day. But my tomorrow never seems to come.
Or should I think in a more positive light and say "my tomorrow has yet to come, but it will some day." Hmm...

Death felt so close just now. Too close.
Had dinner with my family earlier on, and immediately after dinner, I had this major tummyache. My entire body went numb and cold, and my vision became fuzzy. I was seeing black. My mom had to sit me down by the roadside for me to get some blood into my head.
I was THIS close to being sent to the hospital. Finally made my way to the loo and released everything (well, most of it), and my mom later told me that I felt like death. WTF. Really thought that was it. zZzZz.

Long time since I last saw Isaac, and I finally got to see him and some of the others at Kelvin's birthday chalet earlier.
The Commandos are so going to get poor Kel dead drunk. Someone by the name of Kyle got my number from Kel, typical beach boy. Very suggestive. Hurhur!
Happy 22nd birthday Kelvin! =)

Yet another sweet surprise. From a "I've got something to settle, be right back." to appearing right at my door step. What a sweet little midnight surprise, at 1.20am. Hmm... -big smile-

All sealed up with mystery contained in it. --- Lid undone.

The little sweets are out of the box! --- And there, the scent itself.

I just received a table bouquet from my buddy. Thanks dude! What's written on the card is extremely sweet. =) I guessed you were up to something when you asked for my address the other day, but still, it's very much a sweet surprise! Really, thank you for cheering me up!
3 types of flowers, 8 stalks, and here's the mini table bouquet...

It was good to see my girls the other day. Talked a lot, laughed quite a fair bit, and we sure did walk a lot!
Got to see Delta too at my da jie's chalet, although only 8 of us, but still the guys will always be the guys. We laughed like mad, till our tummies all ached. And I've learnt many new games, so interesting! Haha. Love you people!

Yesterday, mommy specially took leave from work just to bring me go shopping! 2 tops and a pair of jeans, but I'm still far from done, still have to go in search for footwear, maybe a bag, and some accessories, then only will I be done with my CNY shopping.
Meeting the girls later for another round of shopping spree! Oh my, 3 days in a row of shopping. I can't get enough of it. HAHAHA!

The past 2 days have been rather productive, because I FINALLY studied! After starting school at SIM for so long, I finally forced myself to study. Good to start early.
In about a month's time I'm going to see the specialist at TTSH. The lungs specialist I think? And hopefully I can get to see Dr Fung again (not for the bad reason though, just hope that maybe I can bump into him around TTSH when I go and see the specialist) HAHAHAHAHA!
Even my mom agrees that he's good looking. How about that man.

The pain that I was complaining of on Tuesday ended up to be Pneumothorax. It's the case when there's a puncture in the lung and air pockets start to form outside of the lung, putting pressure on the lung, which may eventually cause the lung to collapse.
I finally just got home frm TTSH after being there since 4.30pm. Was practically at the clinic for the entire day.
Went to the polyclinic around lunch time and was referred to TTSH A&E. Super cool because I got to jump queue like nobody's business!
OH OH! And the doctor who operated on me is damn damn damn damn damn handsome! Dr Michael Fung. HAHAHAHAHA! He pierced my chest twice though, the first piercing couldn't extract the air. BAH. But it doesn't matter, I forgive him because he's so very cute! Heh!
The number of hours I had to wait to be discharged was boring. Now, I've got to leave the dressing on for 3 days, meaning I've got to wear loose clothes because the padding's very thick.

There's this bloody acute pain in my right chest that wouldn't go away. Causing me to have a freaking hard time breathing.
Taking a slightly harder-than-normal breath hurts like mad. My mom wanted to send me to A&E. Wait till I end up really gasping for air first mom. No hurry, it's just a life anyway.

Nothing fantastic or significant happened today. Waited at Thomson for more than an hour, then was told to go down to Orchard instead.
Had dinner with my boss and colleagues, and back home we came. There goes our anniversary, which I only spent less than 2 hours with him. Not just him alone though. Hmm...

What would you do if this happened to you:
Person A: (in mandarin) bie zai wo bei hou shuo wo de huai hua. Want to say anything, tell it straight in my face.
Person B: (immediately walks behind Person A and said:) huai hua, huai hua, huai hua.
Seriously, what would you do? To laugh out loud or to whack that person hard?

It's been slightly more than a week since I last blogged, and already someone's nagging me to blog! So there! HAHAHA! I thought my blog was something like a barren land where no one visits anymore, so that's the reason why I hardly update.
Anyway, we were talking about bones breaking, and Mr Ng Jia Jun Jay-Jay said, quote "I drink bones for..." unquote, and he trailed off there. I shall do the honour of completing that sentence for you Jay-Jay! "I drink bones for strong milk." HAHAHAHA! Hopefully he won't read this post ever. Otherwise I'll be dead stew!
How retarded can anyone get? No one else but Daddy Jay! -triple grin-

One and a half years with that irritatingly cute boy.
One and a half years of tolerating his nonsense.
One and a half years of constantly being mad with him.
One and a half years of bickering.
One and a half years of loving and hating each other.
One and a half years of hugs and kisses.
One and a half years of many other things.
One and a half hour marathon. HAHAHAHAHA.
Many more one and a halfs to come. I heart you baobei.

Whenever I'm down with the flu and a major sore throat, fever never fails to seek me. And whenever a fever strikes me, it always ends up rocketing sky high to above 39 degrees celsius.
Last night was a horrible battle with Mr Fever 39.6. Got home from a light shopping with my mom at around 9.30pm, and I immediately resigned to the comfort of my bed. Took my temperature at 11.30 and was confirmed with a high fever. Popped 2 panadols and slept.
Woke up this morning and I'm fine! Just still coughing away like nobody's business but glad that the darn fever's gone! Been a long time since I last had 12 hours of sleep. Feels damn damn damn good!

Finally gotten the phone that I want. Surprisingly, it wasn't a long wait. It was sort of an impulsive purchase, but I'm not regretting it. My SIMcard doesn't support 3G though, so I've got to get it replaced.
My boy forked out 1/5 of it for me, and I told him to treat that as an early Christmas gift, so I don't feel that bad about it. Thanks baobei.

This morning (the morning of 13th December), I awoke and found a packet of Marks and Spencer's chocolate chip cookies and a packet of chocolate bars on my bed. Mommy played Santa! =)
I love it when I wake up to sweet surprises like that. Mommy can make me real mad at times but she's still the best mom on earth!

A Levi's top on Sunday. A Guess wallet on Monday. Nothing today.
Been ages since I last pampered myself in this manner. Can't even remember what my last tangible and worthy purchase was before the above mentioned.
But I still haven't gotten enough of shopping yet. I'm in a super shopping spree mood. At least I'm earning more than enough to support my expenses.
