This is a continuation to the previous entry. Apparently, 9140 0834 harrassed my mother too! I'm guessing he/she was trying his/her luck in trying to con people into something and was playing around with numbers, and my Mom's and my handphone number only differs at the last 2 numbers.

Mom and I received the same SMS from this weirdo with the following text, "I am somun u r name what i u ferant u cauntrey who u girl me.u many have no have ass me." Excuse me, but is that even English? Somebody, please decipher that for me? And yes, I know I'm not an ass like you, "somun".
If any of you are utterly bored and need some entertainment, give this fella a call on 9140 0834.

At 10.30am, this person called me on my handphone and I answered but couldn't hear a thing. I hung up and again he/she called but I still could not hear a thing. Relentlessly, this retard kept calling, which I immediately cancelled the call because there was no point answering and talking to space.

He/she then proceeded to message me with, "Who are you man or girl.why no anser.must anser me". This fella probably failed English because he/she did not use any punctuation marks and had problems spelling "answer".

My reply to this fella was, "Who the fuck are you. I answered your fucking call. You are the one who's not saying a fucking thing. Stop calling when I don't even know who the fuck you are." I admit it's nothing but a string of vulgarism, but I was honestly damn peeved.

Without replying my message, he/she called AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN! Because I couldn't hear him/her, I used my office line to return the call and all I heard were, "kilu kulu kili kulu kili kulu" and many other inaudible words (if those can even be considered as words).

I gave up attempting to understand what he/she was trying to say and hung up. But the best thing was he/she CALLED ME BACK ON MY OFFICE LINE! Not once, not twice, but at least a handful number of times! WOW! Now I'm starting to wonder which part of "do not call back" did he/she not understand. Probably the entire thing.

I was so desperate that I took my handset off its cradle and switched my handphone off. I switched on my handphone at 2pm and almost hit the ceiling when 8 missed call alert messages came in! The missed call alert log is as follow: 11.29am, 11.30am, 11.34am, 11.52am, 12.17pm, 1.04pm, 1.04pm (again), and 1.15pm.

Wow, he/she just doesn't give up. I'm going to continue with my "off handphone" plan, lest he/she call till my handphone spoil for nothing. Okay, so really, if you own a private line, give this person a call for some self-entertainment.

I survived the 2 family dinners which were held almost back to back. And it was really nice seeing the relatives from Mauritius, Canada and South Africa once again. I really want to go to Mauritius in July for Cousin Olivier's wedding. Mommy, please bring me!

Allow me to rant here, because it's rather annoying that people are so insensitive. Comments like the following is very uncalled for, "Eh, this is so fattening you know, yet you dare to eat?" Just give me a break already and stop confusing me with mixed signals. I'm far from the old me, and all I need is some encouragement. I'm doing my best, and I really do not need to be triggered. Thankyouverymuch.

Unhappiness aside, NJ4 has finally brought me to Udders! =D It was a rainy and cold day, but that didn't stop me from jumping with glee at NJ4's suggestion of trying Udders out!

Left - Mao Shan Wang; Right - Pear Sorbet

Mao Shan Wang Durian – King of Cat Mountain durian
This is the king of the king of fruits. Bitter, sweet, pungent, fragrant, complex flavours intertwined into an explosion of durianism.

Pear Sorbet - refreshing ripe pear, light and healthy sorbet with the natural taste of pears

What I really wanted was actually their Brandied Pear Sorbet but it wasn't available. =( Nevermind, perhaps the next time I'd be in luck.

As of today, I am an official graduate of University of London. In our regalia, we all look like Harry Potter's school mates. Long flowing black regalia, long speeches and a long list of names being called out, all the graduands became graduates 2 hours later.

The number of pictures taken totalled up to about 200! My Dad was happily snapping away at anything and everything, hah! The following pictures are from Jay-Jay's trusty old point and shoot Canon Ixus 850IS. I have to be patient with the pictures from his DSLR. =)

I totally cannot wait to get my hands on the DSLR pictures! =D

I am not your puppet.
STICKY
Raspberry Lemonade, Watermelon Rocks, Soursop Pillows

I AM SO ADDICTED TO STICKY CANDIES! So addicted that I bought 1 jar and 2 packets at one go yesterday! =)

The watermelon rocks look so cute, and they taste absolutely yummy too! Now I cannot wait to try the other 2 flavours! =D

Since we were at Central, we decided to have dinner at an eatery we've never tried before, so to Mr Curry we went.

His: Minced Beef & Potato Omelette Curry (spice level: Spicy)

Mine: Katsu Pannabe Curry (spice level: Very Spicy)

Black Sesame Shake

The curry at Mr Curry was WAHHHH! My very spicy rendition almost killed NJ4 but I was actually hoping it was spicier! Good thing about Mr Curry is that there are 4 type of curry base and 3 different levels of spiciness to choose from. If there was a choice of extremely spicy, I'd be so damn game for it! YUM!

Met Shin, PW and Val for a late night movie: Fast & Furious 4. High speed, high tension, that's what the show was about. After the movie, we chatted for an hour while standing followed by another hour plus of chatting while seating.

No doubt it was a simple gathering, but it had a nice warm and fuzzy feeling infused into it. =)

I have to admit that I'm a sucker for cute and/or pretty food, and I'm really not kidding. Look what I bought from Fairprice.

SO VERY CUTE!!! =D And I felt like some psychotic chickee killer when I happily munched away on them. LOL!

The last time we went to Central was a long way back, when most of the leasing lots were still vacant. And because we have decided to have dinner somewhere near Chinatown yesterday, NJ4 and I dropped by Central and... I bought pretty food again. -_-

The guys were making the candy "dough" when we passed by and so many people standing around watching, as though looking at Ah Meng at the Zoo! Then the shop keeper just had to let me try the freshly made lychee candies and damn... I was immediately bought over. I really couldn't help it.

And no, that wasn't all I got, there were a couple more items from the Japanese tidbits store. It's no wonder I'm fat, which I so deserve. Hah! And thank you dar, for that packet of pretty sweets! I'll definitely be going back for more of their other fanciful flavours!

Okay, and then we travelled back in time to Dim Joy for dinner. Quaint ambiance, no crowd, no pesky staffs, delicious food. A combination like this only sums up to a delightful dining experience. =)

I love the super old fashion style of the entrance and building.

Everything was absolutely divine (but taste is subjective), and I liked the custard bun the most! =D Almost-flowing custard, and crazily sweet, which I like. LOL!

After an hour of fantasy-like joy, it was time to return to 2009. =(

Bye, and we'll be back for this time travel experience again for sure.

I went to the (squatting) loo, did my business, got up and heard clang. Looked down and saw my belt in the bowl, amidst pee and toilet paper. Repulsed, I picked it up by its untainted ends and into the bin it went.

Thank goodness it was a 3-for-$10 belt from Far East. Damn gross.

HELLO GORGEOUS! =D I'm absolutely in love with my new bag! So what if Liz Claiborne isn't a very well-known or extremely upmarket brand. It's the bag I'm buying, not the brand, LOL!

Weight Woes?

In the changing room of the country club earlier, I overheard a very alarming and disturbing statement made by a young girl.

Girl: Mommy, my tummy is very fat. I want my tummy to be flat flat.

When I got out of the shower and was blow drying my hair, the mother and daughter came out and I got a rude shock to see that the girl was only around the age of 7. To add on, she was nowhere near chubby, not even the least bit.

Right after I weighed myself, the girl immediately hopped onto the scale and because I was just beside the scale, I couldn't help but saw her weight reflected on the scale. The scale read: 21.7kg

She called her Mom over to look at the readings and asked, "Is it still 120?", which I presume she meant 120%. In all honesty, I can't see where that excess 20% of weight is hidden in that girl's small body.

It's sad to know that girls so young are already worrying about their weights, and schools somewhat have a part to play for this.

Today, my love and I went back to being kids once again. We went to Sentosa and watched Songs of the Sea at 8.40pm which was supposed to be Earth Hour.

We initially wanted to catch the 7.40pm show but tickets were sold out an hour before! Because we had a lot of time to kill before our show, we decided to settle dinner at Tastes of Singapore.

Lobster Laksa

After dinner, we STILL had some time to kill so we walked around for a bit, and then it was finally time for our show!!!

It was a wonderful night with so many pretty pictures taken at Songs of the Sea. For more viewing pleasure, the rest of the pictures can be found on Facebook. Goodbye, goodnight.

Recently, I've been consuming way too much desserts and so that explains why I'm getting rounder.

Met up with RJ for dinner yesterday and we settled for Marché. As usual, instead of ordering what other people like to term it as "proper food", I headed straight for desserts!

Sweet crepe with banana + 1 scoop of caramel macadamia ice cream.

Today, it was another round of desserts for dinner, and the sin was heightened by the fact that I had my dessert dinner twice.

Part 1: 2 scoops of ice cream from Daily Scoop

Part 2: Cakes from Mezza9

I have sinned, a lot. But I enjoyed every morsel of my sin. =)
