Sydney - Blue Mountains II (6 July 2010)

So, here is the remaining half of the Blue Mountains trip.

After lunch, we took the cable car down to look at the coal mine and we observed Nature at its very best.

When I posed for the picture above, I did not expect that half an hour later we would be on board the real thing!

Thrill ride! We ascended backwards, and the incline was so steep that the feeling and thrill I got was akin to being on a roller coaster, less the speed. Nice!

We were then brought to this little town named Leura, where we had about an hour of free-and-easy time to walk around.

The entire Blue Mountains trip ended with a ferry ride back to Darling Harbour, where we got to see the Harbour Bridge and Opera House from an entirely different angle.

I have said it before, and I will say it again: Blue Mountains trip is really one of the most worthwhile activity we did in Sydney. Honestly, for the kangaroos, I do not mind going on this trip again in future!

At times like this, I don't know if I should love or hate him. When he's nice, he really is, but it still does not and will never erase the hurt.

Then again, all of the above are just words. To change for the better, only actions will show.

Sydney - Blue Mountains I (6 July 2010)

For A$145, I felt that the Blue Mountains Trip was very worthwhile. Way too many pictures taken, so this will be split into 2 entries.

On the way up to Blue Mountains, we visited the Featherdale Wildlife Park. Kangeroos are so cute!

After we visited the Wildlife Park, and after the breathtaking view from a particular lookout, it was time for lunch which was included in the entire package.

The rest of the trip would be left for the next entry!

Sydney - 5 July 2010

On the 5th of July in Sydney, we were so focused on food that I got a shock at how much I ate that day as I browsed through pictures. The entire day was spent eating, eating and eating.

Our day started off with lunch at Menya, and the ramen there was really awesome!

Needless to say, the spicy ramen was my order and NJ4 found it too spicy for his palette. Despite having a low threshold for spiciness, he still insisted on helping me to finish up my ramen, and that left him chugging a lot of water thereafter. The ramen had a fantastic bite to it and it was so good that we revisited on the day of my flight back to Singapore.

To aid digestion, we walked around town for a bit.

The weather turned chilly after awhile which sent us into Lindt Cafe for warmth. So with nothing else to do, we loaded ourselves with some calories.

Dark Chocolate Drink

I kid you not when I said that we were so focused on food that day, because merely 2 hours after teabreak, we met up with the rest of the gang for dinner at Hurricanes!

The Seafood Platter that cost over A$100!

Nomnomnom. I feel so fat just by looking at all these pictures. =D
