I will be heading to Sydney! Just booked my air ticket because NJ4 was telling me that SIA is going to raise fares tomorrow! So on this day, exactly 3 months later, I'd be off to Sydney to meet my love for 3 awesome weekends! =D
Now now, that is something to look forward to!

Weird.
The recent days seem to be passing way too slowly and way too quickly concurrently. I know it is such a contradiction but really, such feelings within are so unexplainable.
5 weeks since I last saw them, but no, I'm not excited nor am I looking forward to tomorrow. If I could procrastinate longer, I would.

Dada.
Last night, I dreamt of Dada. It has been 9 months since he left us, yet I still remember him so clearly. The way he looked and the way he spoke are all etched deep in my memory.
In my dream, there was a dinner gathering for the whole Chan Yiptong family. Prior to dinner, Dada requested to go to the rooftop of a particular hotel, because we have been up there before (in my dream; haven't been to such a place in real life), and he loved it a lot.
After enjoying the fresh air for a little bit, it was time to head back to the restaurant as dinner was about to commence and everyone else was waiting for us, so I said, "Dada, let's go down now." With a strong, "Ok", Dada stood up from his wheelchair, stabilized himself, and took a few shaky steps forward. I was utterly shocked because Dada had lost the use of 1 of his leg after a stroke a few years back, yet there he was standing before my very eyes, taking baby steps.
Within seconds, Dada stood strong and firm and I rushed forward to give him a big bear hug and didn't want to let go! I got a bystander to take a picture of Dada and I, because I wanted to have a picture of 'Dada being able to stand again'!
Strange dream, no? Maybe I miss Dada way too much.

Being so far away from me, NJ4 is still able to do the weirdest things just to put a smile on my face.
A few days back, I made an expression which he ended up drawing in the chat messenger to mimic me.
I must say he did a fairly great job at the facial and bodily expressions because they were exactly the way I did it. But wrong hair length and totally wrong body description there.
You never fail to make me laugh (and get mad sometimes). ILoveYou.

NJ4's New 'Housemate'.
Lizards, cockroaches and ants are hard to find in Australia. According to NJ4, he's never seen any other those since he has been there.
This morning, he and his housemate had an unexpected visitor, a new housemate like never before.
When crawling away, with its legs all outstretched, NJ4 said its full size was about that of his palm. Nice!

Not Your Traditional Rose.
I know of someone, who is not a very patient person by nature. I know of someone, who has never been very delicate with things. I know of someone, who doesn't have very nimble fingers.
But this someone, when effort and heart is being put in, he can go to great lengths to get things done.
For someone who doesn't exactly have the slimmest fingers around, he bothered to look up the video on how to fold a rose using a piece of origami paper, learn the techniques to folding the paper rose, and clumsily made his first ever paper rose after 2 hours.
With a few rounds of practice, he's able to do it in about 30 minutes now. And with that, he'll embark on his little project. Best of luck!

The Little Things.
I'm easily amused, and there are many little things that crack me up pretty much. In Bangkok after the big feast with NJ4's Thai friend, I saw this building which immediately brought me back to Singapore.
Definitely not my favourite place in Singapore, so I was somewhat traumatized yet tickled at the same time when I saw that building.
And then on one of the 4 nights there, NJ4 was amusing himself which I captured all of it on video! The sound effects are freaking amusing, so turn up the volume!
