I have never liked the Terminator series before because as a kid, I guess I was just too dull to get the gist of the story, or to put it more bluntly, I couldn't be bothered to.

I remember watching Terminator (#???) on TV when I was younger, but I didn't sit through the entire show, because like I have mentioned, I was not able to catch the show.

However, Terminator Salvation changed my perception of it, and although the story line was slightly complex and nonsensical, it still appealed to me very much with all its effects and such.

Watch it, it's nice.

It's the 14th again, and we're 27 months into our journey. Time really flies, and it's really not all that good when one is reaching mid 20s in a couple of years.

Today is also the opening of Angels & Demons and knowing that I must watch it , Nj4 brought me for its screening!

Honestly, I believe if I had not read the book, I would be totally lost, because as always, the progression of movies are way faster than the story in the book itself. A great watch!

It has been a while since NJ4 and I dined at a place out of the ordinary and because we had a lot of time to kill before meeting up with Shinyu and Aaron for a movie, we decided to roam Upper Thomson.

Other than the crazy chocolate cake craving I had yesterday, I was also dying to have some fish, and so we did. =)

Our shared dinner: Pan-grilled Seabass with Pasta

Watched "Taken" at AMKHub with the 2 lovebirds and this show was worth every minute of my time! Honestly, I wouldn't mind watching it one more time. And Liam Neeson has that "old man charm" that I like. =x

On an extremely random note, I have bought so many energy bars over the last couple of days that I really do not know when I'd be able to finish them all. I believe that the bars are somewhat a good investment.

Almost $100 worth of energy bars waiting for me to eat them, and I totally cannot wait to try the new and exorbitantly priced bars I bought. I must be crazy.

Yesterday was an extremely eventful day from 8am till past midnight.

Trooped down with my parents to Mercedes Benz staff sale and slightly more than half the loot bought was mine and NJ4's (at my own expense of course). I think NJ4 was pretty pleased with the items I got for him (right?). Honestly, I have never felt any buys so worthwhile before. =)

We then lunched at IMM's Swensen's and had a crazy time at Giant! And... 1/3 the loot belonged to me (at my parents' expense), LOL! I always have bundles of joy and fun whenever I'm out with my parents. So what if I'm 23? It's never too old to spend quality time with my folks. ♥ And I love being Daddy's and Mommy's girl.

Being 25 months into our relationship, NJ4 insisted that we "try some place new".

Before we adjourned to "the some place new", we caught Push. Action packed, clever plot and good looking characters, definitely a great watch.

And then, we proceeded to PS Cafe @ Dempsey for our dinner/supper/desserts at 11pm. It took us quite a while to locate the place because it was like a little maze in Dempsey, but we eventually got to it and it was worth all the search. =)

NJ4 and I started our super long weekend on Friday evening, and it will last through to Monday! =D

Anyway, for no apparent reason, NJ4 suggested that we have dinner at Waraku at East Coast, and because of my obsessive love for Waraku, I agreed almost immediately!

The set we shared.

For some weird reason, Waraku's food seem to have a diminishing returns effect on me already. =X But it's still delicious nonetheless!

And as we were travelling to town after dinner, we saw a very pretty heart-shaped cloud!

And then, we finally did the activity that we went to town for: My Bloody Valentine - 3D!

My virgin 3D movie experience was not too bad, but the super annoying thing was that the 3D glasses were way too large for my face that I had to hold them in place almost throughout the entire show.

LOL! The both of us look like some major geek in those 3D eye wear!

2nd Anniversary - Part II

Almost exactly 12 hours after Part I, I woke up to Part II of my 2nd anniversary surprise. =)

As always, I SMS-ed NJ4 telling him that I'm awake and queried about the time he's coming over to get me. And the following pictures would adequately narrate and unveil Part II.

Actually, when NJ4 told me to open the door, he meant the front door. But because I just woke up and have not stepped out of my room, I opened my room door and saw the bouquet of lilies at my door step.

Apparently, my elder brother received the bouquet from the delivery guy and placed it at my room door step. And so, that was how my Part II surprise greeted me. =) And my poor boy was already over at my place an hour before I woke up. Aww.

Gift shopping followed by the movie "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" wrapped up our Valentine's Day, but that's not the end of our 2nd anniversary celebration just yet.

I'm looking forward (yet at the same time having some fears) to Part III and Part IV (which I already know what it is) tomorrow! Part III would most probably be my greatest joy and fear which I will fight through, just for it and for NJ4. Now, I just can't wait!

Elder Brother and Sister-In-Law are back from their honeymoon at Hokkaido and look what they bought back for me:

Another Tigger added to my ever-growing Tigger family! =)

Twilight
Caught Twilight today and although the entire vampire thing isn't all that realistic, the visuals were good.

I totally dig the Cullen's house! Literally a breath-taking view from Edward's room. I would die contented if I ever get a chance to live in a place like that. Sweet.

Saturday was full of nonsensical shit when Mandy and I met up for a hair dye date. Her laughter has always been so infectious that I can't help but laugh at her and with her. Little Miss 开心果.

She got so excited over her new hair colour when it finally turned out the shade she's been trying to achieve with all her self dyes. It's good that the both of us walked out as 2 happy customers. =)

NJ4 and I then went to explore the new wing of North Point and I was so pleased to see Bakerzinn there! It's time to load up those calories!

We caught Bolt and I teared towards the end of the show. I just have this soft spot for dogs, especially really cute ones.

It's actually quite laughable because it was just an animated movie, yet it was able to make me tear. Blah.

A good watch indeed. =)

Yesterday, a new family member joined my existing gang of Orange Furballs, and I'm enjoying him/her/it very much. And here, I present to you, the newest addition to Orange Furballs:

The newest and largest member of the lot.

The entire Orange Furballs family.

=) =) =) Thank you, love.

Caught Saw V and I found it pretty good because this was a summary and closure to Saw I-IV, but something just tells me that there would be Saw VI, because the story had many open-ended scenarios.

Hopefully there would be a #6, otherwise I'd be left in a limbo which I totally dislike.

Now, it's time to cuddle my hugeass Tigger and bid the world good night.

When the going gets tough once again...

I've said this many times before, but I still want to say it again:

I love going shopping with my Mom!

Yesterday morning, my Mom suggested that we go shopping after work at Raffles City and without a second thought, I agreed! =)

Sometimes, my Mom gets on my nerves when she goes on and on about certain things and I would roll my eyes when she's not looking (but now that I've written this down, she will know what I've been doing all these while, because she reads my blog, hahaha). But ignoring that fact, shopping with her can't get any better!

And like I've also mentioned before, food-my parents-me, we are like a complicated tangled chain which always leaves me guilt-stricken.

YoguBliss @ Yoguru Blueberry Bagels
Left: YoguBliss from Yoguru - frozen yoghurt ♥♥
Right: Blueberry Bagels from Marketplace ♥♥

Despite the ridiculous prices tagged to the above 2 food items, Mom bought them for me without even the slightest flicker of contemplation. Thank you Mommy! ♥

Later that night, NJ4 and I caught High School Musical 3. There's really nothing left for me to say about musical themed movies and plays, because I heart musicals very much.

And so, that's the beginning of my long weekend...

Monday, October 13, 2008

My weekend was a blast, packed with one activity after another. =)

Friday
NJ4 picked me from work in the evening and we sped off to Golden Mile Food Center for Ice Cream Ice Queen. Sinful delight! =D

House Bunny
1) Black sesame + Peanut + Green Tea flavours. Sheer heaven!
2) House Bunny

I was high on sugar after the ice cream treat and was more hyped up during the movie because it was oh-so-lame-but-damn-funny!

Because I was complaining of the lack of a proper water bottle in his car, he got me us his car a water bottle that was so appropriate for me!

Orange bottle with words that I always get dagger eyes when used. =X

Saturday
Went swimming with my love in the afternoon and I swear I resemble so much like a life buoy because I'm so round, LOL! After which we went for our breakfast/lunch/dinner (yes yes, we had our first and only meal at mid-day) at Hotshots - Lau Pa Sat.

Hotshots Photobucket
Crispy Burger Melt Real Bleu Cheese Burger
Crappy images, I know. I can't help it that my HP camera sucks.

Oh my goodness, applaud me for attempting to conquer a burger by myself because it used to be something very unthinkable, but I still didn't managed to stomach the entire burger myself. Anyway, the burgers were really quite nice, and it is something different from the usual fast food joints. And I totally dig the twister fries!

To add on to the sin, we went to Mr Tea and indulged in a Tea Oreo Blend (topped with whipped cream, koko krunch and Oreo biscuits).

Blah, I'm salivating already! 4 hours of walking at Ikea (Tampines) and Giant thereafter really helped to alleviate some guilt off.

Sunday
Made brunch for my pig and myself. And here's my innovative soup in a mini bread bowl! Deliciously adorable!

My palm-sized bread bowl with mushroom cheese + crouton soup is really very satisfying. Guiltless indulgence is really a blessing. =)

And then down to Ikea we went again! This time with my elder brother and his wife-to-be. And I've gotten my pretty new desk and display cabinet! Can't wait to set them up soon! =D

With that, I'm dead tired, but a satisfying weekend it was.

For those not in the know, I'm one who is extremely self-conscious, have a plunging level of self-esteem, sensitive, and feel very insecure more often than not. And it has been this way since the day I started being aware of my surroundings and remembering things.

But I've never felt it as bad as now. Some actions are bothering me tremendously and it's gnawing at my insecurities.

Edited @ 11.50pm

Mama Mia!Caught Mama Mia! with my love after work. It was a good stress buster, and it somewhat helped to alleviate the mean feelings I was experiencing this morning.

I've said it before, but I have to say it again, that I love musicals very much! =)

And Pierce Brosnan is damn hot for a man his age! Charming old men are really quite irresistible, hahaha!

NJ4 is crazy, extremely crazy.

Thursday night he had a 24km route march with his recruits, and the march lasted throughout the night till Friday morning. After which he attended a briefing for some activities, followed by book out which he came to meet me and we went for a movie marathon.

Death Race Forgetting Sarah Marshall

2150: Death Race
The entire race was like a game, similar to what you get on a game console. Unrealistic, but awesome effects and good adrenaline rush.

2355: Forgetting Sarah Marshall
This show really cracked me up like crazy. And it really supports the saying of "You won't know what you would be losing until you've lost it". True, so true.

2 different movies, same hall, same seats, same companion. =)

And effectively, he hasn't slept for 2 conecutive nights. -_-

I've gotten my Honours. Not a fantastic class, but still an Honours nonetheless. At least I do not have to retake anything, so a not-so-good Honours is better than none at all.

Anyway, on a lighter note, my love took a "birthday leave" yesterday, and like always, he's the sweetest thing ever!

He sent me to work, took a nap in his car the entire morning just to accompany me for an hour during lunch, went home after my lunch time was over, then came to pick me up from work later in the evening. =D

Caught Wall-E at AMKhub, and it's so nice! Humour + sweetness, what's there not to like? Wall-E is such a brat, especially during the "cleaning up process". LOL! Go watch it, definitely very worth the time!

And baby, thank you for everything, as always. =D
