And so, this is the second leap year post on my blog. It doesn't feel like I've been blogging for over 4 years though. Ah, this is so random.
The boyfriend is very much missed, and this week seem to be passing way too slowly. Reliving our beginning.

After half a year of procrastination, I'm finally a Citibank platinum supplementary credit cardholder. =) Thanks Mom.
I know the picture's rather fuzzy.

I've reached the high low. It's just a matter of time before I crumble.
Dinner at Noble House Restaurant tonight, to celebrate Grandpa's birthday and 15th day of CNY (both in advance). Feeling nervy.
Edited @ 1150pm
So, dinner was ala-carte buffet. For the quality and variety served, the cost per head was very worth it. My table (the grandchildren's table) and the older generation's table ate a lot, definitely more than total cost. The amount of food consumed at my table was really freaky. My cousins can sure eat! This is one meal that's worth everythingI think.

Daddy brought home a mouse trap and we set it up earlier.
15 minutes ago, I heard the trap door clang shut so I went to the kitchen to take a peek, and voila! I wonder what took the rat so long to come out from its hiding place. Maybe it just woke up and was looking for breakfast, lol! It looks quite cute actually:

Today, we celebrated our (advanced) 1st Anniversary and Valentines'. And I have to give it to my boy because despite being so busy in AI, he still had everything meticulously planned out for today.
He told me we were going North, but drove South instead. Upon arriving, he said, "I told you North, but did not say North of where. So now I tell you, we're heading North of Sentosa." Dinner was in a cable car - Sky Dining. And so that answers the question.
Dinner was a 3-course affair, and it was 1 course per round. I'll allow pictures to relate our experience.
As we were being seated =)
1st round - Starters
2nd round - Mains, wines & happy faces
3rd round - Dessert, coffee & night view
Caught Kung-Fu Dunk, and the last stop for the night was NJ4's crib.
I was led into his room with my eyes covered. When I was allowed to open my eyes, we were in total darkness, with just a faint glow of words gleaming back at me.
Now, isn't he the sweetest thing alive? And when I thought that was all, he guided me around his room and told me to flip the light switch. There, laid out lovingly on his bed was a heart-melting sight.
I guess it's needless to describe all these in words, because all the pictures paint a thousand words. 6 days to a year, and I'm still loving my love so much. Thank you baby, for making this day possible.

My little tiger last year - 2007 -- My little tiger this year - 2008
This girl grew a lot in one year! Pictures do her no justice, in person she's extremely adorable. Everyone says she can pass off as my younger sister because we share the same wide jawline. In fact, she looks very much like me when I was her age. I love her to bits. =D
3 - 5 phrases, 3 names. Totally -_-

Mother barged into my room at 1030am screaming, "MEI MEI YOU BETTER WAKE UP NOW! NEIGHBOUR'S HOUSE IS ON FIRE! WAKE UP SO WE CAN TAKE ACTION IF NEED BE!"
Yeah right, fire indeed. I didn't see any fire, only smoke coming out from my immediate neighbour's kitchen and no one was at home.
2 fire engines was sent over, as well as the police. Just because why? There's SMOKE emitting from my neighbour's house. Not FIRE, yet.
After everything, conclusion was: Neighbour was boiling milk bottles, left it on the stove, and went out.
(1) 1 of the 2 fire trucks (2) Firemen entering neighbour's compound from our backyard

Okay, so now I'm officially lack of sleep and totally grouchy for being forced awake to such a big hoo-hah on a Sunday morning. Grrr.
Ikea at Tampines is so huge, I went wild. I love looking at pretty and colourful items. Like that utensils set. Got a 4-piece mirror, so now I can stop climbing onto my toilet bowl just to have a full length view. -_-
Liquid Kitchen was great. Same people, same venue, same seats. =)
Reunion dinner later tonight. We're 3 days early, I know. Food - GAH!
