Retail Therapy

Not that I needed to release any form of stress, but it was really nice to meet up with Pam for an impromptu shopping spree!

We went to Central where human traffic was almost non-existent. Sticky candies, ankle boots for Sydney, a whole load of junk food, delicious dinner, crazy company with crazy antics, and it all sums up to AWESOME FUN AT CENTRAL!




And as if the damage done at Central wasn't already enough, we took a bus down to Orchard, where our expenses continued to roll! A Uniqlo hoodie top will be my companion to Sydney to aid in beating the cold. And then we walked and walked till it was nearly 11pm when all the shops finally decided to start closing, so we headed back.

2 Zodiac Cycles

Today, I turned 24. But really, age is just a number. My parents and I had an awesome dinner at this fantabulous mini Italian restaurant called Pasta Inc, located along Jalan Besar.


I totally dig the ambiance because the lighting, table setting and everything else in general was warm and cosy, making patrons feel extremely welcomed.


TL: Complimentary bread
TR: ˜SPAGHETTI AL FRUTTI DI MARE E NERO DI SEPPIA˜ - Spaghetti cooked with fresh assorted seafood in a squid ink based sauce. (Mom's)
BL: ˜FILETTO DI MANZO˜ - Pan fried beef tenderloin flavored with red, white wine and green peppercorn. Served with blue cheese. (Dad's)
BR: ˜RAVIOLI CON CARNE DI MANZO DI GORGONZOLA˜ - Ravioli filled with minced beef served with light gorgonzola sauce.

One word to describe all of the above: DELICIOUS! Not only was the food fantastic, even their customer service totally exceeded my expectations! And then, what really sold me was after we called for the bill and just about ready to leave, the waitress came out with a Tiramisu with a candle on it, singing Happy Birthday to me!



Complimentary Tiramisu with complimentary birthday song sang to me!
I will definitely be back! =D

Got home and cut the cake my Mom bought from Secret Recipe. White Chocolate Macadamia... NOMS!


Thank you one and all, for all the wishes from various people via various methods and from various countries. I had a blast!

It Has Been...

At least 4 years since I last met up with Pam, and the meet up we had last night was a blast!

The moment we saw each other at CityHall, we started yakking away, right up to when we sat our butts down at Coffee Club. We were so engrossed in our conversation that we totally left out looking through the menu to decide what to order until the waiter came by to ask if we were ready to place our orders. LOL.

As we ate, we chatted a lot and covered a whole load of random topics. There is no doubt that a lot of unnecessary air went into our stomachs but it was definitely well worth it!


I had so much fun with you babe, and I'm extremely happy for you that you have FINALLY discarded a pest of 6 years, and now leading your happy life! See you soon! =D

I Know My Dad Loves Me When...

He doesn't need to go to work today, but because I have just started work at my new work place a couple of days back,

- he worries about how I'll get to work;
- he tried to help me find the most efficient and effective way to get to work;
- he woke up this morning, saw that it was raining, and offered to send me to work.

I've got the best Dad on Earth! And Mom too of course! =D

Here I Go!

In about 8.5 hours, my new journey begins! On the very day of my father's birthday!

Happy birthday Daddy!

In just a couple of days, I will be moving on to the next phase of my working life. I'm excited, anxious, happy and sad, all at once.

I know for a fact that I will miss majority of the people here. I'm really excited for Monday, and I hope the people and environment there will be conducive and friendly!

And I Wonder.

Many a times, I question my existence. Is that a bad sign? Without a doubt, I know it is.

If not because my iPhone was starting to surface with a lot of internal problems, I wouldn't have changed my handset, because I was still able to close one eye and live with the ugly-yet-pretty-cool hairline crack right across the screen.

But because connectivity became so poor, and the screen jams quite frequently, I decided it was time to go. $328.00 for a change in handset that was barely half a year old sure is damn costly! GAHHHH!

Dirty Little Attention Seeker.

So this fella here wants some attention. You want it, you've got it.

As I was on my way to Cityhall en route to Pasir Ris, this guy got on the train somewhere between YCK station and Bishan station. I was busy amusing myself with my phone but because I can always sense it when people are staring/looking at me, I looked up and he was staring right my way.

This went on for a couple of stations and this little fucker took out his handphone, angled the camera right at me and after pressing a few buttons, kept his dirty little phone back into his dirty little pocket.

I am about 99% sure he took a snapshot of me because at that very moment I was staring off into space in his direction. And because I was too pissed off and too stunned to actually confront him, all I did was whip out my iPhone, and snap a picture of him as he was getting off at Orchard. This little twerp actually turned around and posed for my camera!

OMFG. I am speechless. I need a barf bag, NOW!
