For 3 days since Monday was his off days, and every single day, he made the effort to come by my work place just to spend an hour of quality time with me during lunch. 2 movies in 3 days again.

Director Jack Neo's productions have never failed to touch the heart of Singaporeans, extremely applaudable. The entire family scene was so natural that I really got to give it to the veteran actors and actresses. 2 thumbs and 2 toes up!
As for Mummy, the effects and all were pretty amazing. The show was close to 2 hours but it felt way shorter than that, which goes to show that it wasn't draggy and boring. However, the story seemed to end slightly too abruptly for my liking.
Anyway, in a few hours' time, we'd be 1.5 years old. 18 months is quite a long time. Without a doubt, we had our fair share of arguments, but we always get them resolved at the end of each argument. As a surprise, he got me the scent 'Very Irresistible' from Givenchy.

One item off my list! Thank you baby, for always being the sweetest you. Much love. =D

My younger brother is suspected of having a Pneumothorax attack. =( He's at TTSH A&E now, and if it's confirmed, it would be his 2nd attack.
I've had my fair share of Pneumothorax attacks too, which can be found here and here, so I know exactly what he's going through.
Since young, we've had this uncanny twins-like bond between us. Despite being exactly 13 months apart, our parents always dressed us in matching clothes during Chinese New Year, and because we were able to constantly finish off each other's sentences, many people thought we were boy-girl twins, or how the Chinese term it as 龙凤胎. Heck, there was one point in time when we looked eerily alike!
For Christmas, our parents always had to get similar gifts for us and the one I remembered vividly was the rainbow coloured helicopter he had, and mine was a train, in the exact same colour tone. (Or was the train his, and mine the helicopter? Hmmm...)
Even when it comes to sickness, we mirror each other with perfect precision, and it's been proven true for something as serious as Pneumothorax. No one else in the entire family have had this condition before, just the both of us. It's weird how he had his first attack, and a few months later I had mine. My second attack hit me sooner than expected, and now it's my baby brother's turn.
He'll be fine, I know he will.
Edited @ 9.35pm: He's fine! The pain in his chest was a false alarm.

My sweetest drug's brand new Mazda 3 arrived yesterday, and today we went out for a spin in his new baby!

And like my brother's Mazda RX-8, my darling's car plate is very personal and meaningful. Just take a look at the number of Js! The numbers have great meaning to him as well.

The interior is so so so pretty!

And of course, there's a need to snap a few pictures of us in the car, just for memory sake. =)

Proud and happy owner.

EH NJ4! What's with the wide wide grin?! Let's try once more okay?

There, that's better! =D
After tanning at SGCC, we hopped over to Tom's Palette for ice cream!

His: Wasabi Lime + Sea Salt Caramel
Mine: Banana Honey Roasted Nuts + Peanut Butter
YUMMYYY!!! Oh, and Happy 43rd Birthday, Singapore!

My office pantry is pretty cool! The drinks dispenser has quite a wide variety of drinks. Here's the prove:

There's Nescafe, Cappuccino, Milo, Cafe Mocha, Cafe Latte, Teh Tarik and Green Tea. Oh, what's there not to love about this great drinks dispenser. Caffeine overload, I like. =D
And my Dad said I'm slow, because only the second day of work then I explore. I was given an orientation yesterday, so I knew the pantry existed, but I didn't know that the variety of drinks was this extensive! Mocha mocha mocha, latte latte latte, green tea green tea green tea. =)

Happy 26th Birthday Kor Kor!
Last night, we celebrated my elder brother's birthday a day in advance. Mommy whipped up a fantabulous dinner for the family and 3 of my brother's close friends.

The entire feast.
And here are the individual dishes:

Mushroom Pasta Sauce - warmed over a tea light

Fresh Salad; Pasta; Mashed Potatoes;Assorted Sausages with Cheesy Scrambled Eggs
At one point during dinner, I suddenly became the topic for discussion. Daddy and elder brother asked Magdalene to guess my age. She looked at me, scrutinised me in fact, then concluded that I'm 17, 18 max. Everyone at the table roared with laughter, and when it was all calm again, she asked how old I really am. She literally went, "OH MY GOD!" when I told her I'm +5 of her initial guess.
It really isn't that hard to believe I'm 22, right?

Ungracious Driving Etiquette.
Ferried my Daddy to and fro TTSH for his appointment, and it's only today I personally found out how ugly some Singaporean drivers are.
As I was turning into the expressway, I was honked at by a bastard behind for no apparent reason. I was in my own lane, going at a normal speed, and seeing that I was at no fault at all, my Dad told me to slow down on purpose.
And then, an idiot in a lorry high-beamed me when I cut into his lane as I was exiting the expressway. Excuse me, he was 3 cars (or more) length away, so why did he high-beam me for.
The last one was a bitch. I signaled way in advance and there was space to cut infront of her so I did, and then she tapped her horn lightly, which was obviously just for the sake of honking to bully me rather than because I caused her to take any evasive actions. Dad said, "Don't bother, you gave advanced signal, she want to chiong forward to prevent you from entering is her problem." ROAD BULLY!
Just because I have a P-plate doesn't mean it gives such "experienced" drivers a chance to bully me. Please, you ass holes went through this phase as well, don't act so high and mighty and bully P-plate road users. It's just another 2 more months, you wait and see. Such road bullies ought to be shot in their heads.

Fully geared!
Mommy and I accompanied Daddy to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for his eye cataract operation today and while he was in the operating theatre, Mom offered to gear me up for this coming Monday!
3 pairs of shoes in a span of 15 - 20 minutes, and if I didn't say, "Okay, I think that's enough to last me till my first pay day", my Mom would have happily continued shopping for me. Thank you Mommykins! =D

For 3 consecutive weekends, darling and I have been attending his Armour mates' 21st birthday celebrations. Each week, I learn a little more about those bunch of people and new strings of friendships are made (with the girlfriends/partners). And there will be more to come.
Before attending the party last night, we got conned into having late lunch at Lerk Thai, but that's not to say that the food wasn't good. It was satisfactory, but just not to our initial plan - long story.
While waiting for our orders to arrive, NJ4 was being goofy,

and so I mimicked him!

And finally, our orders came and NJ4 was happy!

Anyway, my bedroom is going to have ORANGE WALLS in no time! =D

18 July, Friday - Filled With Laughter
Jo is back is town again and of course that naturally summons a meetup. One word to describe the people who turned up: Nonsensical.
Dinner at Newton was good, but a little over-rated. Then, it was TCC outside International Plaza. Oh my, food overload!

(1) The mess we made.
(2) They were so accomodating to bend to my pathetic height, LOL!
(3) And here I present to you, thegay guy buddies!

After almost a month of waiting, our photoshoot pictures are finally ready! Went down to collect them just now, and the 2 10R size framed pictures are so nice, I like! I heart the album of 20 too!

These are the two framed 10R pictures, and honestly speaking, the pictures here do no justice to the end product of the framed ones.

Today marks our 17th month being together (omg, we're getting quite old). Coincidentally, yesterday's birthday boy also celebrates his 17th month with his girlfriend today. =)
Being on course has many benefits, of which we're able to spend almost everyday together, and also get to celebrate important dates on the actual day itself, like today.
It took NJ4 quite a while to locate the eatery he planned on bringing me to, but the search and the countless circles we turned were all worth it. Soon enough, he found Sunset Grill & Pub (inside Seletar Airbase, which was a bitch to locate).

The Fried Button Mushrooms were okay, I still heart the one at Jerry's.

These Buffalo Wings had fiery levels ranging from 1 - 10. My boyfriend, being one who doesn't really dig hot stuff like me, went for level 1. KILLJOY! He was sweating profusely as he ate those wings, and I was so disappointed. I think even MacDonald's chilli is spicier. (Okay, it wasn't really the case, but just a comparison.)

NJ4 ordered a main course without knowing that the shrooms and wings were more than enough to fill both of us up. So when his main course came, he had to send it back to the kitchen to get it packed.
Thank you darling, for the wonderful dinner, for the quaint eating environment, for your company, for your love. Happy 17th! =D

Sunday was packed to the brim with activities, which I had balls of fun. NJ4 and I brought Sparky to East Coast Park for a walk. I guess this is when pictures speak a thousand words. Take a peek:
Looking up and down the street, waiting for his Kor Kor to arrive:

And then, Kor Kor finally arrived, so off we go!

And Sparky being his usual inquisitive self, he explored the vehicle:

After which, he enjoyed the scenery:

And then my baby got so bored because the journey was taking too long. Just look at his BIG BIG YAWN!

NJ4 had to pump petrol before continuing the journey, and this got my little baby pretty agitated. He scrambled about and was literally asking for his Kor Kor to return quickly.

The journey soon continued and Sparky decided to be SuperDog.

And then we FINALLY arrived at ECP!!!

We walked, and walked, and walked, and before we knew it, it was time to head home. My little one was so tired that he bade the world goodnight on the journey back home.

And that, was one happy day for Sparky. =D
NJ4 and I attended his friend's 21st birthday party later at night, and I must say that the Officers are pretty protective people.
And because I get red easily with the consumption of alcohol, but still totally sober (inherited this from my Dad), the birthday boy asked if I was okay and if I'm actually of legal age to drink. It was hilarious to see their reactions when I said I'm older than majority of them there. You mean I don't even look 18?! -_- LOL!
And it's really nice to be able to put faces to names now. =)
